This is an ethically made quilt from India. The fabrics used are recycled factory rejected lungis (men's sarongs) from Chennai. Factories often reject items for the smallest flaws such as an imperfection in the pattern or weave. Usually these go to landfill but we have saved them to make this beautiful quilt! The backing is khadi (handloom) cotton naturally dyed in indigo. This quilt is very special and rare, as its not a typical 'Kantha' bedspread, its a Khoudi from Maharastra.
