This Godhari from Maharashtra utilizes textile waste from a natural dye house in Udaipur. It has been stunningly hand-stitched in Solapur. This is an ethically made quilt from India.

The term Godhari comes from the words 'godh', which means layer and 'ari', which means mattress as these were originally intended to be slept on and not used as blankets.

It is time-consuming, as each patch is sewn by hand.

This blanket is thin so can be used all year round or it could be used as a throw on a sofa.
