It is made from recycled cotton saris, hand stitched together with a running stitch. They were originally used to sleep on and not as a blanket. It would be perfect as a throw or bedspread.
There some small marks and frayed areas as shown in the picture but that is to be expected due to its age and is part of the charm of vintage kanthas.
