It is made from recycled cotton saris, hand-stitched together with a running stitch. They were originally used to sleep on and not as a blanket. It would be perfect as a throw or bedspread.
This blanket has been overdyed in natural indigo and block printed on one side.
As this kantha is old, there may be some signs of its age such as small marks.
