Vintage Japanese Boro Natural Indigo Cotton Furoshiki

An old textile from Japan, once used as a furoshiki, a cloth bag tied in different ways to carry laundry or things from the market.

It is naturally dyed in Cotton and the logo has been resist dyed with rice paste. A technique called Katagami.

There are some patches hand stitched on.
